Shaw webmail is the browser-based email portal for @shaw.ca email addresses, provided to Shaw Communications internet subscribers in British Columbia and Alberta. The portal at webmail.shaw.ca lets you access your Shaw inbox from any device without installing software.
Shaw's webmail uses a proprietary interface — not Roundcube or cPanel. It provides standard features including inbox, sent items, drafts, contacts, calendar, and spam filtering. The interface is responsive and works on desktop and mobile browsers. This differentiates it from other Canadian ISP webmail portals like Eastlink, Northwestel, and Xplornet which use Roundcube.
After the Rogers-Shaw merger, Shaw internet customers in Western Canada moved to Rogers branding, but the Shaw email infrastructure remains separate. @shaw.ca email accounts are managed through either my.shaw.ca or myaccount.rogers.com depending on when you merged your accounts.
For users preferring a dedicated email client, Shaw email is fully compatible with Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, and mobile email apps via standard IMAP/SMTP protocols using imap.shaw.ca — see the server settings table on the right for full details.
