Telus Hosting is the web hosting division of TELUS, one of Canada's largest telecommunications companies serving British Columbia and Alberta. Telus Hosting provides shared web hosting, business hosting, and domain registration services, with each plan including email hosting for custom domain addresses.
The Telus Hosting webmail portal at webmail.telushosting.com lets hosting customers access email accounts like yourname@yourbusiness.ca through any browser without software installation. The interface supports folders, contacts, calendar integration, and email filters.
Separately, Telus.net personal email (@telus.net, @telusplanet.net, @shaw.ca) is a legacy ISP email service for Telus internet subscribers. These accounts are accessed at webmail.telus.net. Both portals are covered in this guide — see the settings table for IMAP configuration on both.
For desktop or mobile email apps, Telus Hosting supports IMAP (recommended) and POP3 via mail.telushosting.com. This is fully compatible with Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, Gmail, and all standard email clients — compare with similar Canadian providers like Shaw webmail and Northwestel webmail.

Launch Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge and type webmail.telushosting.com directly into the address bar. Press Enter. The Telus Hosting webmail login page will load. If you are a legacy Telus.net user, navigate to webmail.telus.net instead — both portals are covered in this guide.
In the Email / Username field, type your complete email address. For hosting accounts, this is your custom domain email (e.g. you@yourbusiness.ca). For Telus.net accounts, use your @telus.net or @telusplanet.net address. Never use just the username without the domain.
Type the password for your specific email account. Important: for Telus Hosting email, this is the password set in the Telus Hosting control panel — it is separate from your main My TELUS account password. For Telus.net personal email, use your Telus internet account password unless you changed it separately.
⚠ If you recently changed the password in cPanel / control panel, use the new password here — changes take effect immediately.Click the Login or Sign In button. Successful login takes you to your Telus Hosting webmail inbox. If you see an error, double-check your email address format and password before trying again — multiple failed attempts may trigger a temporary lockout.
💡 Tip: Only check "Remember me" on personal devices — never on shared, work, or public computers. You are now inside your Telus Hosting webmail. Use the navigation to access Inbox, Compose, Sent, Drafts, and Folders. Access Settings to create email filters, set an auto-reply/vacation message, and customize your email signature. Always click Logout when you are finished — especially on shared devices.
💡 Tip: For daily use on multiple devices, set up your Telus email in Outlook or Gmail using IMAP — your inbox stays synced everywhere automatically.Use these settings to configure your Telus Hosting or Telus.net email in Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, Gmail, or any IMAP-compatible email app. IMAP is strongly recommended over POP3 — it syncs your inbox across all devices and doesn't delete messages from the server.
